FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Dialog Semiconductor (DLGS.DE) is in early talks to merge with U.S. touch-pad expertise firm Synaptics Inc (SYNA.O), Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing individuals acquainted with the matter.
Dialog has a market worth of about 1.15 billion euros ($1.four billion) whereas Synaptics, the shares of which jumped as a lot as 15 p.c after the report, is valued at $1.6 billion.
Dialog and Synaptics declined to touch upon the report.
